What is the slickest type of paint? I am painting a ledge for skateboarding purposes.?

Question by burgdude2006: What is the slickest type of paint? I am painting a ledge for skateboarding purposes.?
So yeah. theres this concrete ledge my friends and I have been skating for a while, and we have tried waxing it for the longest time, and it really seems to do nothing. we spend 5-10 mins waxing it, then we can get maybe 3-4 decent grinds/slides from it, then its just as rough as it was before. We have recently thought about painting the ledge, as it seems most curbs that are painted seem to slide very easily without waxing. A friend of mine mentioned 2 part hi gloss epoxy paint, or something along the lines of “street paint”, like they use to paint the yellow lines in parking lots. Any help wil be appreciated.

Whatever paint you use will eventually wear off when you skateboard on it. But any paint from the DIY shops that is specifically for concrete or cement should work if you apply several coats.

Remember, the thicker the paint, the smoother the finish, but do it one coat at a time otherwise it will be lumpy and take forever to dry.
