    Anime are all the animated cartoons but manga are the cartoons with big eyes and stars around them and also their hair colour are like blue pink e.t.c.

    I define it like this. Cartoon is something that makes no sense but is just entertaining. Anime is something that the character/s are working to achieve their goal. Manga is just book form of these two with most of the time more info

    anime is the slang name for japanese animation in particular. manga is the japanese comics that most animes are based off of. animations from other countries like korea are often called anime also but they are not.

    Manga = Japanese comics
    Anime = Japanese animation

    It’s really as simple as that.

    Think of Anime, it kind of sounds like Animation doesn’t it? Without the “tion”. That always made me remember that Anime is the “cartoon” a few years ago, and manga the comics! :D xxxx
