When I decided to upgrade to a rotary vise I did a lot of research. Eventually, I narrowed it down to a Peak Rotary vise, Renzetti Traveler, Griffin Mongoose and a few others. I had the chance to tie on the Renzetti with standard jaws, and cam jaws, both were very nice, but not as convenient to adjust as the Peak, in my opinion. Peak also offers a nice line of accessories for their vise, as well as a couple different package options, but I think the vise functions quite nicely without them. Peak makes their vise in The , and has a Lifetime Warranty! Peak seemed like the best choice available.

I’ve had my Peak Rotary Vise for a few months now, and tie flies on it several days a week. I have tied all kinds of flies, including size 20 parachute sulphur dry flies, up to size 2 streamers, all with the standard jaws, with no problems.

Every time I use my peak vise, I appreciate its quality. This vise seems very sturdy and well built. The rotary function is silky smooth and far more useful than I ever expected. Upgrading to this vise has allowed me to improve the quality and speed of tying my flies, as well as tie far more difficult patterns than with my old vise.

I have no complaints at all about this vise. I now recommend the Peak vise to every fly tier I know.

Very smooth action, and feels “just right”. I haven’t had any issues with mine, but I hear they have great customer service and make the vise in Colorado. Nice to see Made in !

Great value, a really fine tying vise. Well made of quality materials. Shipping was fast. Makes tying a joy. I upgraded from a non rotary vise and could’t believe the difference having a rotary vise makes in the whole experience.
